Arnold Peralta was a professional footballer from Honduras who was born on March 29, 1989, in La Ceiba, Honduras. He primarily played as a defensive midfielder and was known for his strong tackling and tenacious playing style.
Peralta began his professional career with Honduran club Vida in 2008 before moving on to play for several other clubs in Honduras and abroad, including Club Deportivo Olimpia and Rangers Football Club in Scotland.
He also represented the Honduras national team, earning over 20 caps and participating in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Tragically, Arnold Peralta was shot and killed in his hometown of La Ceiba on December 10, 2015, at the age of 26. His death shocked the footballing world and led to an outpouring of grief and tributes from fans, teammates, and fellow professionals.
